Slashing Activation Update 
The EigenLayer Protocol Council has officially begun executing the slashing upgrade on mainnet. As part of this rollout, the Council is finalizing signatures and implementing ELIPs 002, 003, and 004 — all designed to enable secure, onchain slashing.

Note: During the upgrade window, EigenPod checkpointing will be temporarily unavailable.
