According to the Financial Times, U.S. President Donald Trump plans to exempt certain automakers from parts of his latest tariff package. The exemptions include car parts imported from China—targeted under tariffs aimed at curbing fentanyl production—as well as duties on steel and aluminum. However, the 25% tariff on foreign-made vehicles and a separate 25% tariff on auto parts set to take effect on May 3 will remain in place. https://t.co/NA6n93WESh
